You are The Devil
Materiality. Material Force. Material temptation; sometimes obsession
The Devil is often a great card for business success; hard work and ambition.
Perhaps the most misunderstood of all the major arcana, the Devil is not really "Satan" at all, but Pan the half-goat nature god and/or Dionysius. These are gods of pleasure and abandon, of wild behavior and unbridled desires. This is a card about ambitions; it is also synonymous with temptation and addiction. On the flip side, however, the card can be a warning to someone who is too restrained, someone who never allows themselves to get passionate or messy or wild - or ambitious. This, too, is a form of enslavement. As a person, the Devil can stand for a man of money or erotic power, aggressive, controlling, or just persuasive. This is not to say a bad man, but certainly a powerful man who is hard to resist. The important thing is to remember that any chain is freely worn. In most cases, you are enslaved only because you allow it.

40) What are your plans for 2006? ROCKING MY LIFE in EVERY SINGLE WAY!
Garett discouraged me so much ! His last attempt was the final paper with vague questions and 2-page long requirements..... I am exhausted and feel like fainting.
But I should be happy! There will be no more de Douleur Avant-gardiste!!!! It's officially over at 14:34 this afternoon when I handed over the paper that I have written in like 8 hours....
Màn này thôi k bàn cãi ngoài việc cả bọn hát to ơi là to, lấn át hết cả giọng chính, (say cả lũ)còn thg cu Quanh bé lên cơn phê hát rõ lắm! Mà hội này đúng là k chỉ có nhảy mà hát kiểu j cũng chơi, bài nào cũng gào, từ A đến Z luôn (có ai lập list k để mình còn ngồi nghe tưởng nhớ thác loạn 1 chứ nhỉ?)

... I've been sick for a few days, and i still had to got up to do Sprunger's test on Friday....
... I want to drop my French major ... it's too much and I don't want to deal with it anymore ... is it bad?
... Brian came Saturday night... it was delicious, exactly what I want, and I couldn't get enough of it ...
... I've spent 13 hours on that stupid French essay ... and a few hours on macro homework ... is it all that life is about? ... if life is just like this, i don't think it's worth living ... life must have more ... like flying to places ... like attending fabulous events in fabulous outfits ... like doing great things to help others ... like spending time with friends and family ... like having that "someone" ...
... when will my life be complete? ??? ??????

Back to the school scene, there has not been anything that exciting! School is normal with classes etc. My macro test turned out to be pretty decent, but I will try harder next time.
Friday night I went to see Anything Goes, which is a pretty great musical and several friends of mine are in it. Then Kat and I decided to go to Pimps 'n' Hoes at Lambda Chi. I pulled out this malehoe outfit from the Dolce&Gabbana Fall-Winter 2005 catalogue: skimmy Armani shirt 3 buttons opened, tight DG jeans with brown DG belt, paired with hot brown long pointy boots and a relaxed tie as accessories. It was darn cute! Damn right, I looked like a highclass hooker lol
Gucci Manpurse danced with me twice, asking if I still go to the gym. I said yes, and he said, "Damn, the boys are just going to jump on you!" That's a nice compliment!

I had an amazing escape, just exactly what I need in this stressful moment!
Sunday: I woke up bright and early to catch a flight at 8:30. For a sunday morning this should be a record! I stop for about 2 hours + in Philly and since I cancel the plan to see Brian from Temple, I just sat at the lounge and chit chat on the phone. I had this cute little accident after trying the shimmery lotion of Body Shops which made my hands all glittery. I thus had to cut Bob short to wash my hands.
Then on the plane, I was put in the middle of the 13th row, neither aisle or window, which is such a bad seat. But it turned out to be great. OK, so 13C (my right) was overfriendly with 13A (my left) before the flight and thus made 13A uncomfortable. 13C suggested it would be so much fun if there were only them too. Fortunately for 13A, I was there and she was so relief to have such a relaxing (and safe) flight that she offered to take me to the hotel. Hell yeah, I ll take the opportunity!
Miami is such a great place especially in the sun. All the beautiful European resembled architectures, all the colors, all the palm trees and unlimited horizon streching on the clear blue sea. It was gorgeous! So was Loews Miami Beach Hotel *****. I was overwhelmed by the luxury and the beautiful scenery here. Just an example, here are my first moments at Loews
This is the front side of the hotel, and this is the palm court:
Lovely isn't it? So I checked in my room and ran down to the pool where I tanned and relaxed for hours while checking out the hotties in their swimsuit. Could life always be this fabulous?
Of course this is such a wonderful opportunity to showcase my Gucci GG swimsuit and I bet it was eyecatchy! After I was done with the pools (and the boys) I went up to walk around the city for a bit with a shake of Dulce de Leche in hand. I was surrounded by mainly tourists and espanolhablantes, which made me feel like being in Cuba or some Carribean islands.
Marc didn't arrive until 9. We caught up and then I ordered dinner, and went to bed.
Monday: I woke up with the sun and an amazing view of the sea from my balcony.
So I went swimming and tanning and swimming again and tanning again. It was just too gorgeous of a beach to miss. In the afternoon, I went to a really cute sushi bar for a fabulous lunch with Shrimp Tempura. Then I walked all the way to the shopping area, checking out Armani, Versace, Benetton, Guess, RL etc I ended up getting some nice shirt from Guess and Benetton, where there were some cute salesmen trying to pick me up. I walked back passing Casa Casaurina, Gianni Versace's former house, now a private club for millionaires. A huge mansion with walls full of Versace monogram and the Versace emblems, fabulous club I bet.
For dinner, Marc and I went to Delano hotel's restaurant named Blue Door. This is a French restaurant with luxurious decor. I had foie gras and lobster, with a very strong (but tasty) appletini. French food, french boy, and speaking French, what could be better?
Tuesday: In the morning, after Marc said bye, I order some breakfast since i was too hungry, uhm, you know why. I simply chose something and it ended up being about $75. For this meal, it's way too much for me anyway:
So I left Marc a very nice note to say thank you for taking care of the meal and the bill, and then went to the airport.
Phew, now I am back to PA and back to the stressful class. But at least I had an amazing 48 hours.

I guess I need to update huh? It's been a while... I am not sure what's going on in my life that is noticeable or worth mentionning hmmm.... So let's just deal with stuff right now...
Alvaro is my Spanish teacher and I freaking love him. He is too adorable and way too hilarious. SPN111 is the only class that I am excited about for right now. Even before he told me I had an elegant phone and looked up and down on me and said "Tu eres un gente muy elegente tambien!" Uhm, stating the obvious, but thanks!
I finished the first article on the Walk of Shame for my sex column on Channel4 mag of Vladimir. He wrote back to me today and said that he liked it a lot. What an accomplishment! I do miss journalism and it's fun, even though this is just a small column. I feel a lot better to know that many people do like the article too. I think I will post it on here after it's published.
The other night I went to a speaker for my econ classes. And among all the people who asked the questions were me and Dzung, the only students. How proud! Gandhi mentioned that a student in her class thought that the questions were so good that they suspected the teachers made them up for us beforehand. This makes me think of the invasion we Vietnamese conducted here at Lyco: we have Vietnamese students everywhere, from Jazzman's to Deans' offices. The other day I was walking pass Dean Piper, Dean Spencer and Dean Miller, and I realized I've worked/am working for all 3 of them. Vietnamese are in all the honor societies of our majors too... I am really proud that we are doing such a good job in such a far land.
I am not sure where I am right now in terms of relationships.... Maybe it's not the most important in my head for once...
Haha, another funny thing. Sara Bartlett and I were walking in Hall Crawl, holding hands and everything, and Amanda Schowinski stopped us to ask if we were dating or not. It was hilarious! But I guess it's a good thing!
2 days till Miami. I can't wait!
Oh hell yeah!!!!
I've got the longest weeeeeeeek ever. Let me start with some memorable events.
Tuesday I went to dinner at Jess's house with Kristen, Holly, Summer, and Amanda. Linda cooked us these amazing dishes and we got so stuffed. Jess just got 2 kittens, they are very cute and Holly tried to make me kiss one of them, since, anyone knows me well knows that I am not a big animal lover. But well, I did kiss the cute little kitten. A female one, even.
Then on Thursday I got my HIV test back. 100% negative. Yay!
Friday was the midterm of econ, then I bailed Spanish to take an amazing nap. I took a few of them on Friday, on and off, before going to see Madagascar with Anh. Then I went over to see Chelsey's boyfriend Matt and hung out in Jess's and Kristen's a little bit as it was Seth's birthday. The birthday boy was very cute, a little blushed sitting on the only couch surrounded by many people. It felt like he was being workshiped ! lol
Then, just when I thought I would go to bed happily, there was an incident on my floor. I ended up having to go to Security and give a statement about it. Jesus Christ!
Saturday was the longest day ever! I woke up and worked at Admission from 10-12. One family bailed on us so I didn't have to give the tour, which was fantabulous! Then I went to work in the computer lab and finished my French presentation AND my macro homework. That was awesome! At around 4, fiercenal came over really quick to, uhm, "say hi." After that, I went to dinner at Tuesday's with Jamie, Sara and Christine. We had such a fun time there and I ended up going back 1 hour late for work.
After work, I start my rounds... First round was ok, I had a security guy walking with me. Then, when I was on Williams 2nd floor, a bunch of guys pointed at a noisy party. Turned out, it was the RAs' party in Andrew's room. They had sands on the floor and playing loud music, dancing on the counter etc. For a guy with OCD like Andrew this must be a lot of sacrifice. Anyway, I stayed there for a bit, danced the night away until I had to do another round. They broke a party in Ross, so everyone is back in Crever, it was WILD! the hall is trashed with beer cans, beers, and even condoms (ew!). But they got it settled down!
Then codenamecorona also came over for a little bit. Twice in one night, it's pretty good eh! Making up for the 5 week drought. I finished my last round safely, before I saw a bunch of drunk guys outside between Crever and Forrest. I came over to tell them go back inside, ended up talking to them for quite a bit since there were some guys on my floors. There was a drunk guy pointed at me saying "This motherf***er wears Gucci, Versace to the gym!" It was hilarious! You never know you got stalked at the gym like that!
What a night eh? Thank God I only do weekend once a month.
